You will be amazed by the famous mountaintop road between La Ciotat and Cassis and its 360° amazing panoramas of the Mediterranean sea and Calanques of Cassis from the highest cliff of Europe - 1200 feet high!
View the town's quaint 17th- and 18th-century houses along the way. The cool streets of the Old Town are brimming with character, and the village is known for the quality of its fish and other seafood (sea-urchins with Cassis white wine are a local delicacy). The old fishing port has become a popular seaside resort.
Enjoy some free time in Cassis for some shopping -- arts and crafts merchants, boutiques and cafés fill the quays around the port area.
